some days ago I've added the GDAL_DATA variable to the nsis-installer script:
please prepare the files for building the installer with a fresh svn-checkout
of GRASS-Packager.bat to be sure that all gdal files are included and build
the installer with a fresh svn-checkout of the nsis-script.

Hello Helmut
I was using source from early September. Do you think that was the problem?
please try a fresh svn-checkout or the source-snapshot from last Saturday, because the GDAL_DATA variable etc.
was added last week.
best regards
Helmut

__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 5585 (20101102) __________
Hello Helmut
Thank you so much for your help.. It worked. As far as I was able to test, all my scripts from OSGEO4W are working on this installer.
Thank you.
Just one last question: can I expect any problems by using mswindows from an earlier Snapshot and my source code/compiled from older version (early September 2010)?

great. maybe you can share some example of using gdalwarp in a script in
the wingrass-world to the wiki?

the correct setting of the PROJ_LIB, GDAL_DATA and GEOTIFF_CSV stuff for wingrass (which is
needed for proj4, cs2cs, gdal) is in the source since the end of october. so scripts using this
libraries in an earlier wingrass-installation maybe have problems. it's better to use actuall wingrass-versions.
