[GRASS-dev] g.extensions problems

There seems to be a problem with addons metadata when installing using g.extension. Installing of addons is successful, but with the following error message:

WARNING: Unable to parse ‘https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass-addons/grass7/modules.xml’: syntax error: line 1, column 49
WARNING: No addons metadata available. Addons metadata file not updated.

Also, when selecting an addon in the ‘fetch and install addon’ screen (g.extension gui), there is no description in the bottom like there usual is.

Furthermore, when opening the g.extension window, the repository address is not automatically pre-filled as usual.

Running GRASS master revision 65818 on Ubuntu 14.04

The file is simply not (yet) there after the recent server hardware migration.

Work in progress...

So, the addons are back. Their manual pages even beautified:

Cheers

PS: Martin Landa solved the remaining issues + added the page subtitles

Looks great, thank you and Martin!

And also documented the process and script used [1], so if somebody would
like to improve it, e.g. order addons by keywords [2] or fix description
for module groups such as r.green [3, 4], it's now possible.
