I've been using GDAL installed by my Synaptic Package Manager. But now, due to ORFEO ToolBox Restrictions I will have to recompile and install GDAL by hand. Could anyone indicated me the minimum requirements/configuration for GDAL in order to be used by GRASS?

To my knowledge there are no restrictions at all. The minimum is to
just launch
./configure ....
of GDAL with everything set off (but not sure if it quite useful then).
Important:
Be sure to not activate GRASS in GDAL, use the plugin instead:

Ahhh I have installed libgdal1-1.6.0-grass GRASS extension for the GDAL library from Synaptic Package Manager a few months ago.. And I never got any problem. What is this for? and what might be the problem from of activating GRASS in GDAL (I believe haven't done this).

Perhaps you need to describe the problem first... Did you check the
Wiki page for testing procedures?

Because of known problems of libgeotiff + gdal linking in OTB, I think.
The right solution would be inverting the linking order in OTB, anyway.
