[GRASS-dev] Get vector (or raster) query data processed out from wxgui

Hello,

Is there a way to retreive the information resulting from a vector (or
raster) query in the wxgui map Display, e.g. to get this information
processed by an external shell command or program?

d.what.vect output were easily handled through a pipe, is it possible to
do something similar also from the wxgui? (running a 6.4.0RC6 here)

the idea was to process textual query results, as the ones getting out
of d.what.vect -x
