Markus,

I little while ago I committed all the updates to gism for eval exec and
parsing arguments (and hopefully spaces in mac path names). I'm copying this
to the list and to Agustín for testing prior to back porting.

Maybe you could do fixes first? I can take care of the merge
then.

it is probably already clear, but could you permit for some
days before adding new features (if available)? I would
like to see that people try again gis.m for the fixes before
I merge them into the branch for beta2.
