[GRASS-dev] GRASS 6.3.0RC5 preparation now

Hi developers,

since we are lagging behind the final 6.3.0 for 3 days according to our roadmap
which is excused by the backport of the wxPython interface, I'll prepare a
GRASS 6.3.0RC5 now.

Martin and me (and hopefully others) have tested 6.3.0 release branch and
everything compiles including the new digitizer.

So, we can roll out GRASS 6.3.0RC5 now and quickly prepare the final
release.

cheers
Markus

great news!

Carlos

Can't stop the signal.

Hi Markus,

I have three questions about that:

1) how many days (circa) between the release of RC05?
2) how far is 6.3.0?
3) I lost something about wxPython interface; will TclTk become obsolete,
specially for windows?

Regards,

Marco

veeeery close. Just test and confirm that RC5 works!

Not especially for Windows, but in general yes once core development
is done.

Hope this helps
Markus
