Initial Comment:
In the g.mlist panel (File -> Manage maps and volumes -> List maps using expressions and 'wildcards') is written "map name search pattern, must be 'quoted'. (default:all):"
Actually the option works only if the string is not quoted.

Actually the option works only if the string is not quoted.

IOW: option descriptions should not assume that the module is being
run from a shell.

Fixed in CVS.
