Initial Comment:
Hi,
the tcltk menue "GRASS georectifier" in GRASS 6.2.2 needs a button for i.taget to define the target location. Currently it includes:
1) choose mapset
2) create/edit group
3) select group
4) select map
5) georectify
error message is:
child process exited abnormally
child process exited abnormally
while executing
"exec -- i.rectify -ca group=muell extension=6856 order=1 >& /dev/null"
("eval" body line 1)
invoked from within
"eval [list exec -- $cmd] $args >& $devnull"
(procedure "run" line 12)
invoked from within
"run i.rectify -ca group=muell extension=6856 order=1"
("eval" body line 1)
invoked from within
"eval run $cmd $args"
(procedure "runcmd" line 6)
invoked from within
"runcmd $cmd"
(procedure "GRMap::rectify" line 54)
invoked from within
"GRMap::rectify"
("uplevel" body line 1)
invoked from within
"uplevel \#0 $cmd"
(procedure "Button::_release" line 18)
invoked from within
"Button::_release .gcpwin.mf.topf.tb0.bbox1.b3"
(command bound to event)
defining it manually works of course
i.target -c group=muell

Otto

This has been resolved but I didn't see any information posted back to the
dev list.
To clarify, with the new TclTk georectifying tool, you start out in the
'target' region and georectify INTO it. Hence, you don't need to specify a
target region.
