Carlos,

Which buttons? Can you send a screenshot?

Michael

NB: It would be nice if the the difficulty of replying to Carlos in this
message could be reduced (i.e., not having to manually look up his email and
paste it in to my reply)

Hi,

just 2 notes:
1) Carlos - when reporting such issues, please, specify language. If
language is know, anyone can test it with "export LC_ALL=es_ES";
2) Michael - for bugreports, please, check it at bug tracker, as
attachments may not be forwarded to ML. Also - any important comments
should be attached to bugreport, as not everyone will search bug
reports AND ML for same issue.

Sorry for interuption,
Maris.

Carlos,

May I suggest that "run (background)" might be better translated as
"ejecutar (fondo)" than "ejecutar (segundo plan)" This should fit OK.

I think "Segundo plano" is better translation than "fondo" in this case, but anyway you gave me an idea for the solution (2º plano), so thanks.
Next question is what may happen in other languages.

I have now updated this particular case in SVN - the buttons in gui/tcltk/gis.m/runandoutput.tcl. The four run buttons will wrap if they have long titles and the "Save" and "Clear" buttons above have their fixed width removed so they will adjust to the size of the text in them.

Yesterday I also changed lib/init/gis_set.tcl (GUI start-up screen) in a similar way - just for general prettification with translated messages (fixes bug 282).
