Using the wxGUI, and displaying a vector map, when going into the
properties of the vector map the whole graphic environment of the computer
freezes.
This happens at no particular moment or operation, just while manipulating
properties in the wxGUI d.vect dialog.

Yes, 6.4.0 from ubuntugis-unstable in Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid).
I haven't been able to identify any pattern in the freezes, yet, but when
I go to console and kill the latest python process, I get the GNOME
environment back to usable again.

I haven't had any such freezes happen to me lately, but haven't been using
Ubuntu much. I'll close the bug for now. We have a class that will
intensively use GRASS (6.4.2) on Ubuntu in the next few weeks, so if the
problem shows up again, I'll reopen.
