I was testing the Map Swipe tool today and I am a huge fan. I added a wish
to the wiki page for this tool, but I thought I would add it to trac as
well.

I think it would be great to add the option to export the image to a
graphics file (eg PNG).

Thanks for the development work. It is a great tool.

Thanks for your interest. I added this functionality in r53419, however it
is not possible to choose the image size (as with Map Display) because I
was not able to preserve the accurate positon of the line between the two
maps for larger images.
