The Addon no longer works because of the following change at USGS for data
download: http://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/SRTM/

"Downloading these data requires a NASA Earthdata Login username and
password.
To obtain a NASA Earthdata Login account, please visit
https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/users/new/ "

Please add a new parameter to specify the credentials after registration
when using r.in.srtm.region

I added the parameters username and password to the Addon
r.in.srtm.region.
I think the Addon should work again with these changes.
