In trunk, the wxGUI g.region dialog no longer gives the IMHO very helpful
format description for bounds options, e.g.
   Value for the northern edge (format dd:mm:ss{N|S}):
is now
   Value for the northern edge:

Not sure if this is a wxGUI or g.region change.

From the manual: decimal degrees and degrees with decimal minutes can also
