Hi,

in the wx Map Display window if you add a scalebar, drag it to the bottom
left, then add a raster legend, after that it is not possible to drag the
scalebar any more, even if you reselect add scalebar from the add overlay
menu. The legend gets dragged around instead.

??

Comment (by cmbarton):

Is this still a problem or did my explanation earlier resolve it? (i.e.,
barscale and legend are sitting on an invisible map. When the map of
legend is on top of the map of barscale, you cannot select barscale).

Now I understand why more, but as per your explaination, it's still broken
- the user can't readjust the barscale. At minimum selecting the barscale
from the Overlay menu again should bring that layer to the foreground to
let you move it. That's only a partial workaround, but it's better than
nothing.

I agree that it needs to be improved.

But you can adjust the barscale in the meantime. Just move the legend to
the right more to uncover the barscale (it's covered by the transparent
map that legend is on); move barscale where you want it; move legend where
you want it.
