Hi,

a little stupid question:

with svn checkout https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/trunk grass_trunk
I have (in grass_trunk dir) the current GRASS development version

while with svn checkout https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/branches/releasebranch_6_3 grass63_release
I have (in grass63_release dir) the last release of GRASS 6.3… is that the same of downloading grass-6.3.0RC4.tar.gz from http://grass.itc.it/grass63/source/?

no, e.g. to get rc4 from svn use

svn co https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass/tags/release_20080109_grass_6_3_0RC4
grass63_rc4
