[GRASS-dev] GRASS6.4.3RC3 on downloads web site

Helena,

Do I need to recompile GRASS 6.4.3? I don’t know if I have 6.4.3-1 or not.

I just checked the download webpage and it lists GRASS6.4.2 | 6.4.3RC3 as stable versions,
but the news says that GRASS6.4.3 has been released - should the above be changed to 6.4.3 too?
http://grass.osgeo.org/download/software/

WinGRASS binaries show 6.4.3-1 as the latest stable but the link at “Installing GRASS” points to WinGRASS6.4.2-2,
should that be changed to 6.4.3-1?
http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/binary/mswindows/native/

the binaries for Mac
http://grass.osgeo.org/download/software/mac-osx/
show the link to William’s web page first which has 6.4.2 binaries (William, any chance for providing 6.4.3?)
but Michael’s web site has GRASS6.4.3 binaries - should it be listed first?

We haven’t tried WinGRASS6.4.3-1 yet, I am wondering whether there are any known issues besides
the ones listed on wiki under WinGRASS errors

Thank you, Helena

Michael,

I think that you should keep what you have for GRASS6.4.3 - I just installed it on MacOSX10.8 and it at least opens correctly - I will test it more in next few days.
William, your binary has similar problem as WinGRASS, it does not open the wxGUI properly - I can post more info, but Michael can probably explain what needs to be done.

Hm, opens for me on 10.7 (essentially same as 10.8). I can try 10.8 (clean system) tomorrow.

Runs on 10.8 also.

Please provide details about what's happening for you.
