Hi devs,
recenlty I expressed my interest in one of your GSoC topic [1]. I was further reading and found out there is another topic Complete basic cartography suite in GRASS GIS wxGUI Map Display that is quite related to maps display. Also I noticed there are requirements of Python, wxPython and C, which are languages I have some experience and in which I’d like to improve.

I think there is another candidate but, you should also propose the
same topics... the submissions stop this friday!

So far, there are three co-mentors. I can also join the group (I actually
wrote this idea down) but I don't have experience with C code for display
drivers and modules or NVIZ. I have, however, a strong opinion on which
items from the list should be the priority.
