I have written yesterday to ibiblio, hopefully they'll resolve
the problem asap. Currently a number of mirrors isn't in sync,
but some of them probably depend on ibiblio as rsync server
(tier-2 mirrors).

Thanks to Stephan Holl and Otto Dassau we figured out that a .htaccess
file was sent around through 'rsync' [1] which confused most mirror
sites. This file is needed to handle settings at the grass.itc.it
master site (recently moved to a new machine). By blocking the
.htaccess in rsync, now most mirror sites are back including
http://grass.ibiblio.org .
