[GRASS-dev] missing VERSIONNUMBER in GRASS 6.3.cvs

I just noticed that the VERSIONNUMBER file does not seem to get
installed any longer. GEM needs this to read the version of the
installed GRASS! Is there a replacement? Can we have VERSIONNUMBER
back?

It gets installed here.

Are you sure that you didn't get an error in lib/init?
