The same problem as reported earlier is back it seems, no addons metadata available. This was a problem for 7.1 I think?

It seems like problem with generating the file on the server side. If you
visit the URL, you get:
XML Parsing Error: no element found

I checked modules.xml on build server, and it's OK. Strangely
modules.xml (which is copied from build server to osgeo server) is
broken. I fix it launching copying script manually.
@Markus : just to be sure aren't you not running any cronjob related to
addons on osgeo server?
