Yes, and let's start a section "Known issues" like any other software does.
Releasing 1 million lines of code bug free does not exist. And we then
have a good reason to prepare 7.0.1 soon.
thanks

Due to the new blocker bug in the vector libray we are stuck for now.

Thanks to Markus Metz the vector library got hopefully fixed - is it
confirmed that the ticket
http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/2583
is solved?
Can we restart the final release procedure?

I have tested fresh build of G70, it seems to be fixed. Can anyone
else confirm it?
Can we restart the final release procedure?
I would say that we can move on. Martin

The remaining critical bugs (are they really critical ?) can go into "Known Issues".

Please, see today's v.net test:
Can somebody confirm? More comments here:

To run tests yourself, start GRASS session in any Location and then use
python -m grass.gunittest.main --location nc_smp_08_grass7 --location-type
nc
where nc_smp_08_grass7 is GRASS NC SPM Sample location. See details here:
http://grass.osgeo.org/grass71/manuals/libpython/gunittest_running_tests.html

Hi devs,
If no objections, I would prepare the 7.0.0 release on Friday, 20 Feb
2015, likely European evening.

Apparently no objections, so in a few hours I'll start the procedure
(btw. it usually takes 3-4 hours with writing up announcements and
such. Native speakers wanted to write a catchy press release!).
