[GRASS-dev] Preparing GRASS GIS 6.4.2RC2

hi,

since there are no more blocker bugs
http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/query?status=new&status=assigned&status=reopened&group=type&order=priority&priority=blocker&priority=critical&milestone=6.4.2&milestone=6.4.1&milestone=6.4.0

it is time to get out RC2 now. I discussed with MartinL and MarkusM (both
here in the office) so nothing came to mind why not to get RC2 out.

More in a short while
Markus

Markus,

please hold on a few hours so that I can double check here with students
who were testing the RC1. So far everything was running smoothly but I
would like to check.
The only thing that caused a problem was the legend (see below) but I
did not have time
to try it myself and put it into bug tracker if it indeed is a problem.
I will try later today, (there are just too many things going on),

thanks,

Helena

When I tried to set the legend properties for the global radiation at
the summer solstice (Figure 9 Global
Radiation at Summer Solstice), I received an error. This error
occurred in GRASS 6.4.1 and 6.4.2. The
result was a legend that showed all values the same color. Setting the
legend properties in the Winter
Solstice map did not result in an error. The error trace from the
command window is pasted below. This
requires further investigation.

Dear Helena,

2011/11/15 Helena Mitasova <hmitaso@ncsu.edu>:

please hold on a few hours so that I can double check here with students
who were testing the RC1. So far everything was running smoothly but I
would like to check.

RC2 is out [1], please check this version.

The only thing that caused a problem was the legend (see below) but I
did not have time

I can take a look at it tomorrow.

Martin
