[GRASS-dev] r.li lib name

Building CVS today (last build a couple weeks ago). I'm getting a liblibr_li. I remember this from quite a while ago, but I thought it was fixed (ie renamed). I could also have just forgotten about it and noticed again just now.

It hasn't changed since:

Serena Pallecchi/Faunalia: various fixes; r.li lib now shared lib

I saw that. I found this - I guess I did mention it last Dec, but nothing was done:

Time to hit the bug tracker, I guess. Along with that other endian issue I mentioned there.

In general, if such thing is known and easy to fix and original author
absent, why not just fixing it rather than populating bug tracker and
mailing list? Or is it complicated?

Because different people have different ideas regarding what is or is
not a bug. None of the things mentioned in the bug tracker entry are
unambiguous bugs or have an obvious unique "solution".
