Hi,

re. r50134, NASA's OnEarth WMS site has been partially shut down, and
besides the very nice r.in.onearth addon module no longer working,
r.in.wms examples using that server won't work either.

any ideas? (besides convincing politicians that funding basic science is a
good idea)

I used the WMS yesterday (that's why I updated the manual page).
Or r.in.wms did strange things?

Maybe there is an alternative global coverage?
