I tested your update to r.in.poly today and it solved the problem of making raster points from coordinates. Here is the input to make 3 points, using the same coordinates I used yesterday, the first of which is on a cell boundary intersection. I’ve attached a file of the output.

This time, it only makes single points no matter where the coordinates lie in relationship to the cell grid. Still can’t change points by coordinates directly, but this is a big help for cellular autonoma and agent modeling.
