Hi,
2009/7/6 Hamish <hamish_b@yahoo.com>:
perhaps default to ~/.grass/addons/ ?
(together with rename of .grassrc7 in trunk (it's not a rc file).
call that ~/.grass/init ? or?)
I like the idea of `.grass` directory. There is also .grasswx7 which
could be moved to `.grass/wx`.
Martin
For some crazy reason directories starting with "." are invisible to normal Mac users. For a Mac, it would be better to have this in /Library/Application Support/Grass.

Hi,
2009/7/6 Michael Barton <michael.barton@asu.edu>:
For some crazy reason directories starting with "." are invisible to normal
"crazy"? - hidden files and directories starts in Unix-like
environments with '.' [1]. It's standard approach to store application
settings in the hidden files.

See my earlier reply about the Mac setting, and the idea in general.

Wouldn't that be system-wide? It should be per-user.
