[GRASS-dev] Re: rename of imported branch

Hello,
A time ago Stephan created a Launchpad Mirror for Grass
(https://launchpad.net/grass) and then Markus attached the Grass6
Project (https://launchpad.net/grass6).

As a result, all code imports to Launchpad fro GRASS are now configured
as part of grass version 6.

I would like to change that to adjust it to the current situation.

Is there anybody using the GRASS mirror?
Any opion about how to handle this?

If not, I would volunteer to clean up the mess a bit.

Regards,
Timmie

Hi Tim,

perhaps we bring this up on grass-dev - I don't want to interfere
with the Ubuntu-GIS team.

What do you think?

Hello!

mhh, not sure what you refer to... what is LP and things like that?
I am far from understanding this launchpad stuff. Help welcome!

I suggest that we create a new project at
https://launchpad.net/projects/+new
which will be called just grass.

Then, we import branches from GRASS SVN:
* grass6_devel
* trunk
just like at: https://code.launchpad.net/grass6

Currently, it looks that all is only GRASS 6. But versions are already
increasing.

Best regards,
Timmie
