Hi,

  1. What do I have completed this week?

I changed the layout of view page. I added cutting planes
functionality, I’m
considering
changing the XY control, but I’m not sure how it should look like yet.

Thank you for the great work. I just updated my source and reompiled
and trying to launch 3d view immediately crashes the entire GUI,
without any error message on the console. I tried with export
WX_DEBUG=5, but still not message. Any hints how I could debug this to
get some idea why this is happening ?

Moritz

Sorry, I have no idea what’s happening. What platform do you use and
which data have you loaded?
By me everything is OK. I tried it on two computers (both Ubuntu).

I’m running this on Debian stable, with wx 2.8.10.1. I just noticed that I have a similar problem with the wxgui digitizer: launch digitization of a new map, select points, click to digitize point → crash. Same with lines: the crash occurs when I right-click to finish the line.

But, at this stage, I’m not looking for a solution (obviously if someone has one off the hand, perfect), but for a way to debug this with meaningful messages instead of a silent crash without any visible trace…

Moritz

On my Debian stable it works fine.
