Not an objection, but is the wx GUI sufficient? Bear in mind that
XDRIVER has already disappeared from 7.0, so the GUI is even more
important in 7.0 than in 6.x.

I suppose removing tcltk interface will make it impossible to run some
commands, such as r.li, right?

No. You need Tcl/Tk for r.li.setup, but you don't need gis.m (the
Tcl/Tk GUI).

However, r.li.setup does need lib/gtcltk.
