I have backported a series of fixes in the directory
scripts/
of GRASS 6.2-CVS release branch. We should get out 6.2.2
in the near future since we have accumulates a couple of
important fixed there. Please make some tests to see if I
broke anything by backporting changes.

AFAIK there is no 6.2 tutorial yet available, so that screenshots therein
are not (yet) affected.
