[GRASS-dev] submitting bugs

Hi,

should new bug reports[1] be submitted to the existing tracker, or wait until
the osgeo move is done?

1. saving the results from a monitor, after setting the font to a TTF, does
not result in the TTF being respected when d.rast is used- however does work
when d.his is used...

cheers,

Dylan

Me, I'd say file it, but I'm not the one doing the work

1. saving the results from a monitor, after setting the font to a TTF, does
not result in the TTF being respected when d.rast is used- however does work
when d.his is used...

d.rast (without -o) erases the screen history when it runs, as it runs full
screen. d.his doesn't. run d.font after d.rast, or d.rast -o.

d.font remembers the font being used as long as the monitor is open, so it will
appear like it is still on the list even though it has been cleared from the
command list. Running d.out.file etc using the current list in another monitor
will not know about the previously set font.

d.rast (without -o) erases the screen history when it runs, as it runs full
screen. d.his doesn't. run d.font after d.rast, or d.rast -o.

That should probably be filed as a bug in d.rast.

Don't hesitate to use existing tracker until announced not
to. I'm going to migrate the bug database into Trac at OSGEO
when we move there for good.

That should probably be filed as a bug in d.rast.

I've removed this "feature" from d.rast. It no longer clears the
window.
