Eva,

Trying to use v.kriging I now get:

"ERROR :Interpolating values is currently under maintenance (optimization).
         Theoretical variogram of your data has been computed."

which you added in the code a few weeks ago.

Could you explain why ? Some students wanted to use v.kriging, but that doesn't seem possible at the time.

It seems to me that v.kriging was working before that. If you are currently working on the code, could you not simply work on a copy and commit that once it's done, instead of creating a "maintenance mode" ?

thank you for the notice. Today I submitted optimized v.kriging together with the pdf file summarizing preliminary case studies (linked from the manual).

I created the “maintenance mode”, although this was not an optimal strategy, to keep the version with native R-trees in the repository (instead of previous version based on kd-trees from PCL library). I will not branch them from now on.
