Hi all, I’ve been sharing the v.net.path issue I’ve experiência to the User’s list with no reply.
After trying the command in two windows versions, it seems to me it is a GRASS core issue that should be reported.
Here is the description below.
I’ve tried v.net.path over a line network (one branch only) I built using “v.net -c operation=nodes” over win7 and win8.
v.net.path cannot get finished and stays long and long showing the message “Building graph… Registering arcs…”
I have more details as long as you ask me.
A lot of thanks.
Jose

Can you reproduce this with the North Carolina Demo dataset ? This would allow others to test. Or make your data available somehow ?
Moritz
Hello,
[Please keep communication on the list]
Testing with your data on GNU/Linux I cannot reproduce the problem:
time v.net -c input=palmitalmainApiaiNetout operation=nodes out=test_network --o
real 0m0.936s
user 0m0.052s
sys 0m0.028s
I currently don't have a running Windows installation available to test there, so please post a bug report on https://trac.osgeo.org/grass/, if possible with the data.

M,
thanks a lot for asking. I appreciate that.
Here comes the GRASS location zipped. There is only the line network I
earned from v.net <http://v.net> (palmitalmainApiaiNetout@PERMANENT).
I hope to hear from you soon.

Motiz.
I really appreciated your effort in colaborate to this v.net.path test.
So far, it seems v.net.path is not working properly for windows precompiled GRASS 7.0.
I’m going ahead and provide for myself a linux PC to repeat the test.
Thank you so much.
