Hi,
some days ago I started working on the new graphical modeler for wxGUI
[1]. Modeler is currently available in GRASS 7.0 and GRASS 6.5 [2].
It's aplha version with very limited functionality. See also flash
example how to create a simple model [3].

Hi Martin,
I wonder if this might be a good candidate for a 3rd tab on the GUI manager window (instead of an independent window called from the menu), along with the layer manager and command console? Modeling like this is an alternative to bringing up a list of layer to display or running a set of commands. This would encourage more people to use this very useful tool.

it's nice idea, later I will take a look how to integrate modeler with
layer manager.

I like the current implementation. Models can get quite huge if the
process is complex.
So it would be nice to maximize the modeler windows full screen...
But I would like to have the modeler automatically add created result
files to the layer manager.
Regards.

it could be customized. Modeler could start as a separate window or
integrated in layer manager.
