Hi,

for some weeks the wxGUI no longer shows the box when zooming...
Should I open a ticket for that?

Trunk or release branch? When I zoom I can see the red line. Does it happen
with a fresh GUI instance?

Let me know if r63937 works, otherwise wxPython 3 seems to solve it as
well, but not many people are using it yet.

For some reason the device context (which enables drawing with
transparency) refuses to draw the lines with certain style. On my machine I
get solid line, although it is supposed to be dashed line. On your machine
it refuses to draw at all I guess.

Before yes, now it draws again the dashed line as expected.
