Dear All,
Thanks to Joe in Perth (Aust), I have the solution. I changed my screen
settings on my PC to 256 colours (from 16bit colour) and it works.
I hope this helps someone else. It is going to make a really big difference
here.
Best Regards
Garth
Dear All,
I am trying to give GRASS access to our PC users. I have acquired X-Win32
which is a very good X-server for the PC running Windows. I can run X on
the PC and get the XGRASS dialogue screens up. I can open a display on the
UNIX (Linux) machine and display anything I like. What I can't do is open a
display on the PC. How do I tell the XDRIVER to use my PC as a display.I have tried altering the monitorcap but all my efforts have failed. (The
changes have been seen by GRASS). Is the XDRIVER able to use any X display
or is it confined to the local machine?Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Best Regards
Garth
