I am looking for information or a site for Grass software to run on my
Dec Alpha workstation, running Unix. It has been several years since I
have worked with Grass, are there any tutorials to help one get
re-acquainted? Any information would be helpful.

Dear Russ,

        I compiled GRASS on Digital Unix (OSF2). The only unsolved problem
        is the X-display driver wich fails to start.

James Ganong at REGIS/Berkeley has done a very good job of the port.
I think it can be grabbed from their ftp site.
