GRASS Manual

Anyone know of a good, relatively readable GRASS users manual?

Well, err... There is John Parks' Introduction to GIS using GRASS
(127 pages, includes history & background of GIS, digitizing tutorial
and glossary, but then jumps to some rather advanced topics) which
is available from the moon, and there is John Ressler's GRASS problem-
solving manual, which takes you through 9 increasingly difficult
problems. There is no beginners' manual yet, which is why I am
currently writing one for local use.

After I finish the manual (which may take another month or so) I will
strip it of sections dealing with our local configuration and try to
come to an agreement with the Open GRASS Foundation, to write a
version more suitable for use at other sites. In the meantime, the
current version of the manual can be got by anonymous FTP from the
moon.
