GRASS on Linux

I have posted this question a few weeks ago ...

But since I didn't retrieve an answer I try it again:

I've got the GRASS binaries for LINUX from moon.cecer.army.mil.
Installation worked fine and I can start GRASS whithout a problem.

What I can't do, is to start up an graphics window with d.mon .

Does any LINUX user know what could be wrong ?

Thank's in advance
Max

I had the same problem until I discovered there was another file
needed in order to get an X Window working. Unfortunately, I
can't remember the name of the file, but it should be located
next to the Grass for Linux binaries. I have heard that moon
is gone, but the linux binaries should be at topquark.cecer.army.mil.

Hope this gives enough information to help...
