There is a utility called r.tiff in one of the src.contrib directories. You
can also use r.out.sunrast, then the pbmplus utilities to convert it from
sunraster to portable pixmap, then portable pixmap to tiff. There is also
a wonderful set of utilities you can get from somewhere in California that
are public domain and will also convert directly from rast to tiff.
