Word from CERL is, there is money to fund a GRASS-Splus link, but a
bureaucratic holdup has held up work on it. It is NOT likely to be out
in the next year. There is a Splus link to ARC/INFO. The GRASS link is
supposed to work much like it (ie. seamless passing of data back and forth
and interaction between GIS and stat processes). There are a number of ways to
link GRASS data to Splus the old way (through Sites Menu etc.). Call if you want
more info.
