Can anyone comment on the performance of GRASS running under Solaris 2.3
or 2.4 on a PC. Am considering an upgrade of an old Sparc 1, but fast
PC's seem so cheap...Yes, I am working to get GRASS running under Linux
on a current PC, but the advantage of Solaris is support for some
commercial software I need.
