Version 7.3svn: renaming a layer in the GUI Layer Manager changes the
displayed name, but not the name in the mapset. In the console g.list
displays the former name. g.rename at the console changes it there, too.

GRASS GIS 7.2 will come with a Data tab where you can list and manage the
data (as opposed to layers in display managed in Layers tab).
To all: Related to that, the 7.2.0-News needs pictures of the improvements,
