Set the region to the analytical area (a vector map).
Ran r.slope.aspect using the DEM for input and slope and aspect as output
maps.
Neither slope nor aspect maps display in the map display window. No warnings
or errors display on the console.
Please provide a clue where I should look for the reason(s).

Update:
No raster map will display, not slope, aspect, shaded relief, or the
original DEM. The DEM file in fcell/ is > 410M.

I managed to have the DEM in two mapsets: topography (where it belongs) and
hydrography. I tried removing it from within the hydrography mapset but
failed to do so. Perhaps my attempt FUBARed GRASS.
1. How can I remove the DEM in the hydrography mapset leaving the one in the
topography mapset? g.remove -f type=vect name=<dem>@hydrography did nothing.
2. How can I recover the system since I don't know where the issue is
located?
