I have a couple of questions about NVIZ (GRASS6.2.3 and 6.3)):
What’s the meaning of the flag –x and parameter path in nviz command?
-x should ‘Start in Demo mode’, but nothing seems to happen.
path should ‘Set alternative panel path’ but I don’t understand which kind of panel is referring to.
In File > Save image as…> Maximum Resolution PPM, the image is saved in a file with ‘…the highest resolution (size) supported by the users graphics setup’. Is there a way for the user to set the size (in cm or inches) or the size is fixed?

For the main pic you can do File -> Set canvas size
For the max res PPM you can only shrink it. To do that load it into
Gimp or some other program and Image->Scale Image (cubic method is
best).
From the command line you could use pnmscale from NetPBM tools.
