update the setup.ini file for package version 6.3.0-2 and the new md5sum
hash. (whatever that may be)

It still refers to 6.3.0-1.

It still refers to 6.3.0-1.

Now fixed. Any developer with write access could do that... the file
is in Web-SVN.

Great! Thank you for a quick response!

the mirror takes a day or so to update. either wait a few more hours for
that or take from the master site:

Hi,

Now I got it installed. During the cygwin setup I specifically
allowed cygwin to be used by all users and not just the admin.
Running under admin, initializing the startxwin.sh, I was able to run
the x window and start grass63.

But, under another username/account, I can't.

cygwin terminal reports a fatal error:

It says:
Fatal server error:
Cannot open log file "/tmp/XWin.log"

xterm Xt error: Can't open display: 127.0.0.1:0.0

Any ideas?

cheers,
maning

But, under another username/account, I can't.

cygwin terminal reports a fatal error:

It says:
Fatal server error:
Cannot open log file "/tmp/XWin.log"

This file just needs write permissions to other users
Now, it's running.

xterm Xt error: Can't open display: 127.0.0.1:0.0

Any ideas?

cheers,
maning
