I inadvertently typed 1 instead of 10 for the resolution of my mapset.
Is there a way to permanently change this setting so that I don't
have to g.region everytime. I want to limit my screwups.
thanks,

Let's not spend our time and resources thinking about things that are
so little or so large that all they really do for us is puff us up and
make us feel like gods. We are mammals, and have not exhausted the
annoying little problems of being mammals.

Hi Stephen,
give a look at g.region --help
but if I am not sure you can try:
$ g.region res=10 -s (but I am not sure).
cheers
