Do you have any idea to calculate the consequence of failure in a watermain network? i.e. I would like to calculate the length of the network (or total demand) on the part of the network that the water delivery will be disrupted after a watermain break.
Any help would be appreciated,

Others are more expert than I but I'll offer some thoughts.
You can add a column of segment lengths to the database from the map, then
sum the lengths below a specified failure point. This can be expressed as a
percentage of the total pipeline length.
