Hi folks

I have been trying to create buffers in GRASS 6.4 RC3. I've been
successful thus far, but ActiveTcl has been crashing. I recently
installed new frame works and I am wondering if this might be the
problem.

The message I get in Terminal is:

/usr/local/bin/wish8.5: line 2: 68014 Bus error "$
(dirname $0)/../../../Library/Frameworks/Tk.framework/Versions/8.5/
Resources/Wish.app/Contents/MacOS/Wish" "$@"

Any ideas?

Kurt,

There are some inherent issues with the way some modules report progress and how the TclTk progress bar captures and displays this information that has caused some modules to crash the GUI intermittently. I don't know if this is your problem or not, but it sounds suspicious.
