oh, sorry, I forgot coor= and -b were new for 6.3 and not in 6.2.
(and I'm the one who added it... d'oh)
6.2 example using the spearfish sample dataset:
d.mon x0
d.vect roads
d.path roads
left click mouse on starting point
middle click on end point
-> draws shortest path
right click to exit
(In 6.3 the in-module instructions are less cryptic)
if you want to specify custom start/end coordinates in 6.2 you have to
use v.net.path.
